Hello, Tyler has a new project, it’s the year of good news, he will play in the sci-fi drama series : Another Life.

Tyler Hoechlin and Justin Chatwin have boarded the cast of the Netflix sci-fi drama series Another Life, TVLine has learned.

English actor Samuel Anderson (Sky 1’s Trollied) and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (The Walking Dead) have also joined the project from creator/showrunner Aaron Martin (Being Erica, Degrassi: The Next Generation) and producer Noreen Halpern (Alias Grace).

Ordered to series last April, Another Life centers on Niko Breckinridge (played by Battlestar Galactica‘s Katee Sackhoff), an astronaut who is focused on searching for alien intelligence. To that end, she leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. As Niko and her untested crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.

Hoechlin (Teen Wolf, Supergirl) has been cast as Ian Yerxa, the onetime commander of the space exploration ship who loses the post to Breckenridge, while Chatwin (Shameless, Orphan Black) will play Erik Wallace, part of the United States Interstellar Command — and Niko’s husband.
Anderson and Ludlow will respectively play William, a holographic interface of a sentient A.I., and Cas Isakovic, Niko’s second-in-command and staunchest ally.

The space drama’s previously announced cast also includes Selma Blair as Harper Glass, a 21st century “influencer” who uses journalism, social media and keen intelligence in an attempt to break one of the biggest stories in human history.

Former Teen Wolf star Tyler Hoechlin, Shameless alum Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson (Loaded) and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (The Walking Dead) have been cast opposite Katee Sackhoff in Another Life, Netflix’s sci-fi drama series, from Alias Grace producer Halfire Entertainment.
In addition, prolific TV director Omar Madha (Scorpion), has signed on to direct the first two episodes of the 10-episode series, which Netflix picked up last April.

Created by Aaron Martin (Slasher, Saving Hope, DeGrassi: The Next Generation), who also serves as showrunner, Another Life centers on astronaut Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff) who is focused on searching for alien intelligence. She leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. As Niko and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.

Hoechlin plays Ian Yerxa, the former commander of The Salvare space explorations ship, who loses the post to Niko (Sackhoff).

Chatwin portrays Erik Wallace,’ part of the United States Interstellar Command, dedicated to finding intelligent life out in the universe and husband of Commander Niko Breckenridge (Sackhoff).

Anderson is William, a holographic interface of a sentient A.I. Neither a futuristic Tin Man, nor a robot who pines to be human, William is a new form of life with the knowledge of all humanity at his disposal.

Ludlow will play Cas Isakovic, Niko’s (Sackhoff) second-in-command and staunchest ally, filled with courage and moral conviction.
Selma Blair also recurs in the series.

Noreen Halpern executive produces for Halfire Entertainment.

Hoechlin, who starred as Derek Hale on Teen Wolf, plays Superman on the CW’s Supergirl. His feature credits include Bigger and Everybody Wants Some, and he’ll next be seen in Can You Keep A Secret? He’s repped by UTA, Management 360 and Morris Yorn.

Anderson’s credits include the role of Leon on Loaded, and key roles on Dr. Who and Trollied.

Ludlow was most recently seen as Arat on The Walking Dead. She appeared on the big screen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and will next be seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. She’s repped by Abrams Artists Agency, Mitchell Gossett at Industry and Gail Tassell at Tassell Talent Group.

Madha’s directing credits include series Scorpion, Turn, 24: Live Another Day, Person of Interest, The Blacklist and the pilot of Dick Wolf’s Law & Order: UK. He’s repped by UTA and The Gotham Group.

Hoechlin will fly in as the Man of Steel for CW’s annual DC/WBTV crossover. He will be joined by his the iconic character Lois Lane. Casting for the Daily Planet journalist/Superman’s love interest will begin soon.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” said Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner, Supergirl‘s executive producers. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”

The three-night crossover event kicks off with The Flash on at 8 PM Sunday, December 9, followed by Arrow at 8 PM December 10 and capping off with Supergirl on December 11. This December’s Arrowverse crossover gets more super by the minute.

The three-night, Legends-less crossover event — kicking off Sunday, Dec. 9, with a special airing of The Flash — will not only introduce viewers to Kate Kane aka Gotham vigilante Batwoman (played by Orange Is the New Black‘s Ruby Rose), but also return Superman (played by Supergirl‘s Tyler Hoechlin) to the heroic fray as well.

Kara’s cousin/James Olsen’s BFF won’t be going stag this time around, however. Nope, Supes’ No. 1 gal, intrepid reporter Lois Lane, is coming along for the ride. Get to sharing your dream casting for the role in the Comments below!

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said in a statement. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
Lois Lane’s most notable live-action portrayers have included Teri Hatcher, Erica Durance, and, of course, the late Margot Kidder.

Hoechlin to date has portrayed Clark Kent/Superman four times on Supergirl, most recently appearing in the CW series’ Season 2 finale.

Once again, this year’s Arrowvese crossover event will air Sunday, Dec. 9 through Tuesday, Dec. 11, comprised of the ninth episodes of The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl‘s new seasons.

The CW’s annual Arrow-verse crossover just got a bit bigger.

Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman, with producers also now casting the iconic role of Lois Lane for the three-night, three-show crossover set for December.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters,” Supergirl exec producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said in a statement announcing the news Wednesday.

Hoechlin will appear in all three episodes of the crossover, which stars Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., followed by Arrow on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. and concluding Dec. 11 at the same time with Supergirl.

Hoechlin’s Man of Steel and Lois Lane will appear in the crossover alongside Ruby Rose as lesbian superhero Batwoman.

Superman is headed back to The CW, and this time he’s not alone!

The CW has announced that Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Clarke Kent, a.k.a Superman in this year’s three-way crossover between Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash, and he’ll be joined by none other than Lois Lane (casting for her character is still underway). The Man of Steel will appear in all three episodes, though there’s no word yet on how many episodes Lois will appear in.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” executive Producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said in a statement. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”

Superman’s return for the crossover is exciting for a few reasons. First… it’s freaking SUPERMAN. Second, we also know that Batwoman (Ruby Rose) will make her first appearance in this crossover, meaning we’ll probably get to see these two iconic characters interact in some capacity. If so, there’s a very real chance we’ll finally get some confirmation on whether this universe’s Bruce Wayne (who’s been name dropped on Arrow) is also Batman. And let’s be real, if there’s anyone that knows the answer to that question, it’s Batwoman and Superman.

The Arrowverse three-way crossover event begins Sunday, Dec. 8 on 8/7c on The CW.

“There is far more to this film than one would ever expect, it’s a rich and layered tale that is a true triumph of the spirit,” said Jones about Bigger.

Gallo added, “It’s the kind of film that shows that one can achieve anything if you believe in yourself enough and never take NO for an answer.”

The project was written by Washington, D.C. attorney George Mahaffey and tells the story of a wealthy Persian-Jewish family whose home is invaded by ruthless anti-Immigrant Nationalist perpetrators.
